FAQs

## The big questions.

Quick answers to what most people ask first. Each audience page has more detail.

What is LANE?

Lane is the UK's marketplace for driving instructors and learners, launching August 2026. Instructors set their own prices and get found by motivated learners. Learners find verified instructors, book, pay, and track their progress — all in one app.

When does LANE launch?

LANE launches in October 2026

How does LANE make money?

Lane only earns when you do — a small transaction fee per lesson, capped so learners never pay much more than the instructor's own rate.

Do learners pay extra to use LANE?

Never more than £1 over the instructor's own rate.

How does Swapp'd fit in?

Swappd is from the same team — more detail on the For Learners and For Instructors pages.
